About Lambeth Walk

Lambeth Walk Group Practice is a team that provides high quality healthcare to our patients. Striving for excellence, we will continue to develop and improve our service through teaching, training, research and by listening to patients. Through encouraging and supporting one another we aim to create a friendly and cohesive work environment. We will aim to be cost efficient and to continually invest in the development of the practice in order to meet the needs of our community.

-Lambeth Walk Group Practice Mission Statement

Lambeth Walk Group Practice relocated to the current premises in 1996, having provided services to local residents for many years. The building was converted from a public laundry and slipper baths and redesigned for its current use.

Historically, Lambeth Walk Group Practice has been owned and run by King’s College to act as a training practice for GP’s and medical students. Approximately 4 years ago, the practice separated from King’s, while maintaining a close working relationship with the college. The practice regularly trains medical students from year 1 through to year 5. It also currently partners with King’s to train international medical students and the London Deanery to train GP Registrars.

The practice is regularly involved with clinical trials and pilots which often provide additional medical services to our patients. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent standard of medical care to all sectors of our community.
