WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I THINK I HAVE THE CORONAVIRUS?

Do NOT attend your GP practice, hospital or pharmacy. Self-isolate at home immediately and got to www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19 for up to date advice on next steps and testing.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT CORONAVIRUS TESTING IS NOT AVAILABLE VIA THE PRACTICE.


How to avoid catching or spreading coronavirus

Do:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water often - do this for at least 20 seconds
  • Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
  • Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissues or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

Don't:

  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

 

During the Covid-19 pandemic the practice will be open as usual 8am to 6-30pm Monday to Friday but our doors will be locked and access to the practice will be by appointment only.

Please only attend the practice if you have been asked to by a member of our team. 

To contact the practice for health or administrative advice you will firstly need to complete an online form called eConsult. An instruction video and the link to the form are below. Click ‘GET STARTED' to access and complete a form.

NB: If you request a specific clinician and they are not available you will be contacted by another clinician.
